Opportunities with PTO

OFFICERS
Make a bold move and become an officer or committee chair! Shadow an existing officer and learn the ropes of being president, vice president, secretary, or treasurer. It may seem intimidating at first but our experienced officers are here to help!

COMMITTEES
PTO has excellent committees that get the job done! Participate in committee events and get to know some fun and active members of the McDill community.

  1. Staff Appreciation Committee
Each month, the PTO surprises McDill's staff with a gesture of appreciation. You can help through donating items, coordinating an appreciation event, and using your creativity to develop appreciation events.
  2. Fundraising Committee
Help is always needed for our annual fundraiser!
  3. Green & Healthy School Committee
McDill is a Green & Healthy School. Help to maintain outdoor learning spaces, including the school forest; assist with decreasing food waste and increasing recycling; and support active and healthy lifestyles.
  4. School Services Committee
This multi-faceted committee works behind the scenes assisting with Grandparents' Day, Picture Day, Vision & Hearning Screening and assembling the back-to-school folders. (Just to name a few)!
